DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT FOR CONFIRMATION OF YOUR BOOKING

Golden Moon Adventures requires a non-refundable deposit of 50% on the total cost of bookings and accommodation unless specified otherwise in a specific itinerary. The full amount has to be paid 30 days before arrival.

Any bank charges related to electronic transfers originating from a foreign or local Bank will be for the cost of the sender.

In the case of a cancellation 30 days before arrival 50% of the full amount is refundable and 15 days before arrival no refund will be made.

INSURANCE

You must take out comprehensive insurance cover when paying your deposit to cover you for curtailment, medical expenses or medical evacuation if necessary, loss of personal baggage or money and in case of transport breakdown.

HEALTH

If travelling to a malaria-area (Golden Moon Adventures will advise) anti-malaria prophylactics should be taken  prior to departure and clients should bring their own insect repellent. Consult your doctor for specific advice.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Clients should ensure that passports and visas are valid for the countries to be visited.

RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE

Neither Golden Moon Adventures nor any person acting for, through, or on behalf of Golden Moon Adventures shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause whatsoever and without restricting the generality of the afore-going for loss or damage arising from any errors or omissions contained in its website, brochure or other literature, late or non-confirmation or acceptance of bookings, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, injury or death, whether occasioned by negligence or not.

SELF-DRIVE VEHICLES

TRAVEL OUTSIDE RSA

When travelling outside the Republic of South Africa, all RSA vehicles have to display a ZA bumper sticker. Always carry vehicle registration documents, vehicle and driver license and red triangles.  It is advised that South African registered vehicles have a recent Police Clearance Certificate.  Parking anywhere is at owners’ risk.
